Profile
Larry Manton was born in New Jersey. He attended Hofstra University in New York and after graduating with honors, he went to work for the Insurance Company of North America as an adjuster, safety engineer, and auditor. Larry and his wife became Texans by choice, moving themselves and their three children to El Paso in 1972. He resumed his insurance career with Employers of Texas (now known as Employers General) serving as a sales person, district manager and finally as a regional manager based out of Houston. He obtained his CPCU designation in 1982, CLU in 1990, and CIC in 1995. It is very rare that all three of these designations are held by one person. He is a past president of the El Paso and Houston CPCU chapters, continuing in the present on the Board of Directors in Houston. Larry and his wife are active in their church and he is on the governing board of their homeowners association. Some other interests include traveling, home remodeling, antique car restoration and their grandchildren. Larry is a partner at Insurepointe.
