Melanie A. Johnson

Melanie Johnson comes to us with 25 years of combined insurance experience with national firms such as NFP, Frost, and smaller agencies such as Brady, Chapman, Holland and Associates. Over the past years, Melanie transitioned out of the insurance industry to broaden her knowledge and expertise as Vice President to one of Chicago’s better known construction companies and in doing so, allowed her the opportunity to understand the day-to-day responsibilities and requirements of the small and large business owner. Melanie’s reentrance into the insurance industry opened the door for her to do what she enjoys most, which is providing exceptional customer experience to all her clients. Melanie has serviced accounts in a variety of business sectors, including commercial construction, non-profits, HOA’s, transportation, manufacturing, and many others. Melanie Johnson is a tenured insurance professional, and we are confident that she will continue to provide you with the responsive service and expertise you have come to expect from Insurepointe.

On a personal note, Melanie is a native Chicagoan who has a passion for ministry and is an ordained Minister in the Lord’s church and abroad. She has volunteered at several homeless shelters and homes for abused women and children. Prior to her insurance career, Melanie spent 3 years in Nursing school pursing her RN degree until an injury required her to change course.
