Rex Goodman. Rex is a native Houstonian. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1980 with a BS degree in Environmental Science. His insurance career began with Fireman’s Fund as a Loss Control Engineer. He later became an agent with Texas Employers before becoming an independent agent in 1984. Rex specializes in all types of personal and commercial insurance, bonds and also has a background in environmental coverage. Rex earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1996 and has taught Business Insurance classes at the University of Houston. Rex and his wife, Sandra, have been married since 1980. They have raised three children and reside in Missouri City.
